The executives of Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has  invited the Director General, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, to the 2025 SWAG Awards scheduled for 15 November 2025.

The executives, led by Mr Kwabena Yeboah of GTV Sports fame, paid a courtesy call on the Director General to extend the formal invitation. They shared that the annual awards ceremony recognises, rewards and honours the outstanding achievements of Ghanaian sportsmen, sportswomen, teams and officials across various sporting disciplines. The awards celebrate the very best talents in the country, individuals and teams whose hard work brings glory and honour to themselves and the nation.

The Director General expressed appreciation for the invitation and stated the important role sports continues to play in community development, youth engagement and national unity. 

The upcoming event promises to be an exciting moment as the crème de la crème of the sporting world gather to celebrate excellence.
