Thursday, 23 October 2025, featured a thrilling combination of Vintage or Old School Day, Karaoke and a Cooking Competition. Staff reported to work in beautifully styled vintage outfits that reminded us of the evolution of fashion over the years.

The day's activities opened with a "Jollof War" cooking competition. Departments were grouped and tasked to prepare various types of jollof, igniting the ever-popular continental debate over which African country makes the best jollof. Dishes prepared ranged from Senegalese jollof to Ghanaian jollof, Nigerian jollof, Cameroonian jollof, Ivorian jollof and Liberian jollof. The competition was fierce yet filled with joy, laughter and an appreciation of the diversity of African cuisine.

Later in the afternoon, all staff gathered at the Brennan Hall for an unforgettable departmental karaoke performance featuring old school hits and classics from celebrated legends of the music industry.It was truly a memorable day filled with excitement and unity.

The Winners for the Cooking Competition were:

1st -Cameroon Jollof ( Procurement, Audit, Special Duties, Marketing, Sales
2nd- Ivorian Jollof (Abeka Office )

3rd - Ghana Jollof ( DDG Secretariat, Security, Legal, Corporate, SBI)
