On Tuesday, 16th September 2025, the Deputy Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mr. Eric Yeboah Wadie, led a delegation of staff to extend condolences to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, during the final funeral rites of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III held in Manhyia Palace.

This solemn gesture was in keeping with the customs and traditions of the Asante Kingdom, where royal funerals serve as a significant cultural event. It is customary for high-profile personalities, government officials, corporate organisations, sympathisers, and the public to pay homage to the King, expressing solidarity and respect during a period of mourning. 

Mr. Yeboah Wadie signed the book of condolence on behalf of the Authority, extending the organisation's heartfelt sympathies to the Asantehene and the Royal Family. In line with tradition, he also presented beverages and a cash donation of GHC 20,000 as a token of respect and support.

Accompanying him were Mr. Kwabena Opoku Boakye- Ag. Director of Marketing, Caritas and Events, Mrs. Maame Kesewaah Dolphyne - Head of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Joseph Dassah- Kumasi Regional Manager together with a team from the Kumasi Regional Office.
