The Good Causes Foundation, on behalf of the Director General, Mr. Mohammed Abdul - Salam, presented a donation of GHC 60,000 to Real Tamale United (RTU) Football Club on Wednesday, 28th May 2025.

In appreciation of the gesture, a delegation from RTU paid a courtesy visit to the Director-General on Thursday, 29th May 2025, to convey their sincere thanks to the National Lottery Authority (NLA) for the support.

This donation was made under the Youth and Sports Development Pillar of the Good Causes Foundation, which focuses on supporting youth and sporting activities to contribute to regional and national development.

In his remarks, Mr. Abdul-Salam stated that this donation forms part of the long term objective of the NLA to strengthen bonding agents like RTU in the northern part of the country, as such teams promote unity and social development in their communities and believes that when RTU grows, the whole region grows.

In their response, the team expressed deep appreciation, stating that NLA's support has been the most beneficial to them so far, and thanked the Authority for its donation and commitment.

The presentation was made with the support of some members of the Management.
