DIRECTOR GENERAL EMBARKS ON REGIONAL OFFICE TOUR
The Director General, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, has embarked on a regional tour of the Authority's offices in the Northern Sector.
The tour began on Tuesday, 20th May 2025, with visits to the Wa Regional Office, the Tamale Regional Office, and finally the Bolgatanga Regional Office. The purpose of the visit was to introduce himself to staff, familiarize himself with the operations in the region, and gather firsthand information and ideas to help improve the Authority in revenue generation and overall impact on society.
The tour provided an opportunity for staff to engage directly with the Director General, discussing issues relating to staff welfare, logistics and accommodation challenges. They also shared ideas aimed at improving productivity. A major concern raised during the meetings was the negative impact of unregistered Private Lotto Operators (PLOs), which remains a significant challenge for the Authority.
Accompanying the Director-General on the tour were: Mrs. Modesta Fosu-Ofori - Ag Director, Human Resources, Ms. Crystle Asa-Eck - Ag Director, Legal, Mr. Kadiri Abdul Rauf Issifu - Coordinator, Good Causes Foundation, Mr. Umar Farouk - Executive Secretary to the Director-General and Mr. Collins Boachie-Danquah - Creative Manager.
The Director-General's visit is a demonstration of his commitment to strengthening regional operations, addressing staff concerns, and deepening stakeholder engagement.
