NLA FEMALE STAFF HONOURED AT MIRROR’S MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
In celebration of Mother’s Day, the Mirror newspaper, under the Graphic Communications Group, extended a special invitation to the National Lottery Authority (NLA) to celebrate some of its female staff at a heartwarming event held at Oak Plaza Hotel on Sunday, May 1,2025.
The event served as attribute to the strength, resilience, and nurturing spirit of women, offering a relaxing and memorable experience for all in attendance.Guests were treated to a delicious spread of gourmet dishes, live musical performances from Lipstick Female Players, and a range of activities tailored to make mothers feel pampered and apreciated. Participants described the event as both uplifting and inspiring. Beyond the festivities, the day provided an opportunity for bonding, storytelling, and reflection on the joys and challenges of motherhood.
For the attendees, the highlight of the day was the heartfelt appreciation shown by children through their essays about their mothers, making the celebration even more meaningful.
Representing the NLA were Ms. Ann Ametume, Ms. Mercy Allotey, Ms. Rosemary Nketia-Lartey, Ms. Joyce Amoateng, Ms. Ramatu Abdul-Karim, Ms. Faustina Plange, Ms. Beatrice Tsahey, Ms. Bernice Sitsofe-Adjabeng, Ms. Joyce Ankrah, and Ms. Rodaline Anyeley Ofei. Ms. Joyce Amoateng of the SBI Department was crowned the best dancer at the event.
The event was a thoughtful gesture and a reaffirmation of the Authority’s commitment to promoting staff well-being and strong client relations through such enriching engagements.
